    Definition

    Café Zorro (noun):

    1. A coffee drink that consists of equal parts of espresso and hot water, making it similar to an Americano, but with a stronger and more concentrated flavor due to the 1:1 ratio.

    Example Sentences

    1. “He wanted something less intense than a straight espresso but bolder than an Americano, so he ordered a Café Zorro.”
    2. “My friend introduced me to Café Zorro, explaining that it’s the perfect balance between the intensity of espresso and the mellowness of an Americano.”
    3. “The barista recommended trying a Café Zorro for a strong coffee experience that wasn’t as diluted as a typical Americano.”

    Notes

    • The Café Zorro is less common than other espresso-based drinks and might not be found on the menu in all coffee shops.
    • To make a Café Zorro, baristas typically pull two shots of espresso and then add an equal volume of hot water. It is usually served in a larger cup than a standard espresso shot glass.
    • The resulting drink has a strong, rich flavor similar to espresso but is slightly diluted, making it smoother and less intense.
